Fun Facts

• She was my very first character created, and was created when I was 5 or 6 when I had the thought, "What would I look like as an animal?" Because of her age, she's gone through multiple evolutions and redesigns, though the core of her design has stayed the same.
• Because of the repeated trauma that she experienced at the hands of humans and her experimenters, Kate developed PTSD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Depression, and developed Maladaptive Daydreaming Disorder as her main way of coping, creating an entire world inside her head where she has the perfect life with all of her loved ones, both alive and deceased. She's been medicated, though, and is doing a lot better mentally than she was when she was younger.
• In terms of behavior, movements, and sounds Kate and other dolveetahs make, Toothless and the Night Fury species from How to Train Your Dragon were my biggest inspirations.
